“Grounded” is another film produced through Talus Films’ 12x12 program, and was written and directed by myself. The challenge and fun of this project came from the requirements set by the Talus team. Since they were producing 12 projects in a year, each one was given a pre through post timeline of just one month. This meant we had to write a script, find crew/locations/art, cast, rehearse, shoot, and edit all in a month. On top of that, this was my first experience directing a kid actor. This was such an exciting project as a director, and I’m incredibly proud of what we were able to accomplish.
