ABOUT
"Rose" was such an incredibly fun project to be a part of. It was the first time in a while I got to flex my acting muscles, and a monster thriller is something I've always wanted to do. It was such a blast playing Dixon, and a great challenge too, constantly testing my abilities. Additionally, this was my first major foray into motion tracking and compositing, with the caution sign in the opening being entirely digital and motion tracked with the camera. This was also a great challenge, as the goal is to make the digital elements disappear. Not only did I have to design the overall look of the sign, complete with texture and weathering, but matching the angle and slight rockiness of the camera on the dolly was difficult, but I think the end result turned out excellent, and it's something I'm very proud of.
